Marcus A. Ernst is admitted to the bar in New York and Germany
and to practice before the United States District Courts for
the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Dr. Ernst holds
an LL.B. from the University Bonn Law School and LL.D. (Dr.
iur./PhD) magna cum laude from the University Regensburg Law
School and an LL.M. in Corporate Law from the New York University
Law School, New York, NY. In addition, he attended post-graduate
courses in Merger & Acquisitions at the Leonard Stern School
of Business at New York University. Prior to joining the firm,
he practiced international corporate and securities law with
Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in New York. He
has written and co-authored books and articles on the German
and United States legal system. Dr. Ernst is fluent in English
and German. |

HERVÉ N. LINDER (linder@el-law.com)
Hervé N. Linder is admitted to the bar in the State of
New York. Mr. Linder holds a Certificate of English Legal Studies
from University College London and received a J.D. (Maîtrise)
in Business Law, a J.D. (Maîtrise) in Public Law from
the University of Paris II-Assas, a post-graduate degree (Diplôme
d’Etudes Approfondies) in Anglo-American Corporate Law
from the University of Paris I-Sorbonne and an LL.M. from Columbia
University School of Law. Hervé Linder’s practice
focuses on international merger and acquisitions, private placements,
investment management, immigration and naturalization law. He
is experienced in representing foreign and domestic corporations
on a broad spectrum of matters pertaining to corporate governance
matters, commercial, transactional and corporate laws. Prior
to joining the firm, he practiced immigration and naturalization
law, international corporate and commercial law with Wuersch
and Gering LLP as well as CMS-Bureau Francis Lefebvre in New
York. Mr. Linder is a member of the Board of Directors of the
French American Chamber of Commerce (New York Chapter), the
International Association of Lawyers, the American Bar Association
(Business Law and International Law and Practice Sections),
the New York State (Committee on Legal Education and Admission
to the Bar, International Law and Practice Section) and New
York County Bar Association. He is fluent in English and French
and conversant in Spanish and Portuguese. |
